Full-Time Position Summary East Arkansas Family Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Acute Primary Care Provider to join our team in West Memphis, Arkansas at our Walk-In Clinic. The Acute Primary Care Provider is a Physican that works as a part of the patient care team performing a variety of direct patient care services. Patient care responsibilities include patient assessment, determination of diagnosis, development and execution of a treatment plan, and monitoring patient progress.

This position provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages in a community health center setting. The Physician will provide preventive care, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Arkansas laws and organizational policies. Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory, diagnostic, and imaging studies. Provide preventive healthcare services, including wellness exams, immunizations, and age-appropriate screenings. Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices. Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record. Comply with all organizational, state, federal, and accreditation requirements. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required. Current, unrestricted Arkansas medical license or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment. Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to employment. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred. Current CPR and ACLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
