Locums Pediatric Hospitalist coverage in Colorado with 24 hour shift coverage and 24/7 call responsibility. This is a short, defined block to cover vacation needs with emergency or temporary privileges available for a quick start. Highlights Short, defined coverage block for vacation coverage Emergency or temporary privileges available, supports a faster start Inpatient pediatric hospitalist work with routine procedures included Practice Setting Inpatient pediatric hospital medicine, floor coverage Pediatric patient population Support available from General Surgery, Anesthesia, Ortho, Podiatry, plus 24/7 OB coverage Schedule 24 hour shift coverage 24/7 call coverage requirement during the assignment Coverage needed for a single week in October 2026 Cases and Procedures Common inpatient pediatric diagnoses include pneumonia, sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure, weakness, variable presentations Procedures include intubations and central lines Expected to lead codes and rapid responses Requirements Must be an MD or DO Colorado license required, will not wait for license Board certified or board eligible within 5 years in Pediatric Hospital Medicine or Pediatrics ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA required If you can cover a one week block of 24 hour shifts with 24/7 call in Colorado, reach out and we can confirm the exact coverage needs and clinical expectations.
