Job Description
An established psychiatric hospital in Central Kansas seeks a Primary Care Physician [Family Medicine (FM)/Internal Medicine (IM)] to join their collegial team of six primary care providers:
- Scope of practice includes assisting with medical evaluations, physical exams, acute visits, etc.
- Dedicated nursing support and low patient volume of typically less than 15 daily patient encounters allows time for comprehensive care
- Integrated team with dental, physical therapy, psychiatry, and more with access to a nearby referral hospital for additional support
- No call
- Complex/emergent cases referred out to nearby hospital
- State pension plan with five-year vestment period
- Permanent base guarantee and competitive total first-year package up to $400,000+
