Description This contract, on-site position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide critical mental health services in a supportive and collaborative environment within the medical practice industry. As a Locum MD in Psychiatry, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various mental health disorders. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality care and contribute to patient well-being. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Provide psychotherapy and medication management Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in psychiatry Adhere to ethical and legal standards in psychiatric practice Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school State medical license to practice psychiatry Strong clinical skills and experience in psychiatric evaluation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Compassionate approach towards patient care Familiarity with electronic medical records systems Prior experience in a similar role is preferred

Schedule:

Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8:30a-5p No call or weekends
