About Alliance Health Physicians Alliance Health Physicians is a physician-led hospitalist group providing 24/7, round-the-clock inpatient coverage at McLaren Macomb Hospital. Our team manages the complete inpatient journey•from admission through discharge•delivering high-quality, coordinated acute care in close collaboration with hospital specialists, nursing staff, and case management. Beyond the bedside, the group leads structured post-discharge care coordination, ensuring every patient transitions safely back to their primary care physician and the community. Our physicians are supported by dedicated mid-level providers and a full administrative back office that handles credentialing, enrollment, and billing•so you can focus entirely on patient care. Position Summary We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing hospitalist program at McLaren Macomb Hospital. The physician will manage adult inpatients across the hospital, supervise and collaborate with our NP/PA team, and play an active role in maintaining the group's standard of care and quality performance. Key Responsibilities Provide direct inpatient care, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharge management Perform histories and physicals, develop and execute treatment plans, and manage acute medical conditions Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants on the hospitalist service Coordinate with specialists, nursing, case management, and social work to advance care and facilitate safe, timely discharges Complete all documentation•H&Ps, progress notes, and discharge summaries•accurately and timely in the hospital EMR Participate in the group's call/coverage rotation as part of our 24/7 coverage model Support post-discharge care coordination and communication with primary care physicians Contribute to quality initiatives, length-of-stay and readmission-reduction efforts, and compliance with hospital bylaws Other Responsibilities Follow facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures Respect for cultural and religious practices of patients Upholds HIPAA regulations Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Current, unrestricted Michigan medical license (or eligibility) Active DEA registration (or eligibility) BLS required; ACLS preferred Prior hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred; strong new graduates completing residency are encouraged to apply Strong clinical judgment, leadership at the bedside, and a collaborative, team-first approach Benefits Malpractice coverage provided Paid time off (PTO) CME allowance and dedicated CME time Credentialing, enrollment, and billing fully handled by our administrative team Mid-level provider support on service Predictable block scheduling with true team backup Leadership and growth opportunities within an expanding hospitalist group
Pay Structure Compensation:
$ 325000•400000 per year
Schedule:
Full-time block schedule; shift and rotation details discussed at interview
Pay Cycle:
