Shift Details:
5 days a week. Monday
  • Friday, 8 hours per day.
Psychiatrist Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews. Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and monitor medications as clinically appropriate. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Provide psychotherapy or other appropriate psychiatric interventions. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Follow applicable clinical, safety, ethical, and facility requirements. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted North Carolina license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. Minimum of 2 years + of recent experience as a Psychiatrist Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
