A community health organization is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families throughout the Summit County area. The organization provides integrated medical, dental, and behavioral health services with a strong focus on improving access to high-quality care for underserved populations. Under the direction of the Medical Director, the Family Medicine Physician will provide continuing and comprehensive medical care while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Full-time scheduling options include five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days , with a Tuesday or Thursday available as the designated day off for the 4x10 schedule. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary and preventive medical care to patients in accordance with professional training, experience, and board certification. Perform physical examinations for new and established patients. Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on examination findings, diagnostic results, and patient needs. Obtain and review patient medical histories through interviews, documentation, and available clinical records. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Provide ongoing health maintenance, preventive care, education, and disease management. Promote patient-centered care through a collaborative team approach with an emphasis on quality, safety, and positive health outcomes. Direct outpatient medical care and participate in the established after-hours call group. Determine when specialty consultation or referral is appropriate and coordinate patient care with specialists. Collaborate closely with Advanced Practice Nurses, Physician Assistants, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team. Provide clinical supervision to Advanced Practice Providers as appropriate. Educate healthcare providers, staff, patients, and community members regarding health maintenance, first aid, basic and advanced cardiac life support, and other health-related topics when appropriate. Participate in surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures consistent with training, credentials, demonstrated ability, and scope of practice. May participate in the education and training of family medicine residents and medical students. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation within the Electronic Health Record. Provide clinical coverage at additional locations as needed based on patient care needs, clinical coverage requirements, and scope of practice. QualificationsEducation & Training Doctor of Medicine ( MD ) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine ( DO ) degree from an accredited medical school. Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program. Licensure & Certification Current or eligible license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio . Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of primary care and family medicine. Ability to independently evaluate patients and make appropriate clinical decisions with sound professional judgment and integrity. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, colleagues, and staff. Ability to provide culturally responsive and compassionate care to patients from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to serving underserved communities and improving access to healthcare. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary care team. Understanding of applicable state and federal healthcare regulations and requirements related to community health centers. Strong commitment to quality, safety, teamwork, and patient-centered care. Proficiency with computers and Electronic Health Record systems. Work Locations This position will primarily support locations in Summit County, including Akron and/or Barberton, Ohio . Physicians may occasionally be asked to provide services at another affiliated location based on patient care needs and clinical coverage requirements.

Schedule Full-time scheduling options include:

5 days x 8 hours 4 days x 10 hours , with Tuesday or Thursday available as the designated day off Participation in the established after-hours call group is required. Pay:

$225,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
