Job Description

Description Manager - Radiology Cottage Grove Medical Center | Cottage Grove, OR 1.0 FTE | Day Shift | Exempt $134,264.00 - $201,406.40 annually + comprehensive benefits Relocation Assistance May Be Available Lead the Department Everyone Wants to Work In Not every imaging leadership opportunity begins with stability. At PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Medical Center, you'll inherit something many leaders spend years trying to build: a fully staffed imaging department, strong provider relationships, a culture of collaboration, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. Instead of spending your days scrambling to fill vacancies or covering endless clinical shifts, you'll have the opportunity to focus on leadership, mentorship, operational excellence, and the caregiver experience. This is the kind of role experienced imaging leaders quietly hope to find. A department of approximately 30 caregivers. A respected critical access hospital recognized nationally for quality and performance. A close-knit medical community where providers know one another by name and collaboration happens naturally. The clinic and hospital share the same building, creating a level of partnership that's increasingly rare in healthcare. Picture yourself walking through the department each morning. You know your team. They know you. Conversations center around improving workflows, supporting caregivers, and delivering exceptional patient care. The foundation is already strong. Your leadership helps shape what comes next. The Opportunity As Manager of Radiology , you'll guide the day-to-day operations of Imaging Services while helping caregivers perform at their best. You'll spend your time mentoring caregivers, strengthening relationships, partnering across departments, reviewing operational performance, supporting quality initiatives, and ensuring imaging services continue to serve the community with excellence. Clinical coverage is rarely required. While maintaining your clinical expertise remains important, this position allows you to focus primarily on leadership rather than routine staffing coverage. Success during your first six months will be measured less by dramatic change and more by meaningful connection: Building trusted relationships across the organization Learning departmental workflows across multiple imaging modalities Gaining confidence with productivity and budget metrics Partnering effectively with caregivers, providers, and leaders Supporting an already strong culture while helping it continue to grow Why You'll Love This Role Lead a fully staffed department where leadership can focus on strategy, people, and performance rather than constant vacancies Oversee multiple imaging modalities and influence the future direction of imaging services Work alongside collaborative providers and leaders in a highly respected critical access hospital Spend the majority of your time leading, mentoring, and improving operations instead of routinely covering clinical shifts Build a long-term career with PeaceHealth, a person-first, value-driven, highly trusted organization that cares for caregivers the same way it cares for patients Who Thrives Here Leaders who gain satisfaction from developing others Calm professionals who can balance priorities without creating stress around them Relationship builders who naturally create trust across departments Individuals who enjoy coaching, mentoring, and helping teams succeed People who believe strong culture is just as important as strong operational performance Compensation & Benefits Salary $134,264.00 - $201,406.40 annually Hiring rate is based on factors including education, training, experience, seniority, and applicable agreements. Additional Benefits Relocation assistance may be available Medical, dental, and vision coverage 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions and matching opportunities Generous paid time off Employer-paid life and disability insurance Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support Wellness programs Expanded Employee Assistance Program and mental health resources Physical, emotional, financial, social, and spiritual wellbeing support Required Credentials & Licensure ARRT (R)(CT) Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Basic Life Support (BLS) Experience You'll Bring Minimum four years of imaging experience At least three years in a Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership role Quality improvement and process improvement experience Equipment management experience Knowledge of multiple imaging modalities, including specialty procedures
