GENERAL OVERVIEW

Creates, retrieves, and maintains radiology imaging files, greets patients, enters orders in RIS and provides general, clerical support for the department. Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains imaging files in an organized manner and ensures availability of files as requested. (50%) Retrieves films, copies films and/or digitization of analog films by request of physicians, patients, and other third parties. (30%) Greets patients, enters orders and related information into RIS, manages customer service issues and resolves related problems. (10%) Maintains accurate and complete documentation of all required information. (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS
