Your Role As a Pediatrician, your primary focus will be delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to infants, children, and adolescents in both well-child and sick visits .
Responsibilities include:
Providing comprehensive pediatric examinations and preventive care. Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic pediatric conditions. Prescribing medications and ordering appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies. Providing immunizations and age-appropriate preventive services. Educating parents and caregivers regarding nutrition, development, disease prevention, and overall child wellness. Referring patients to specialists when clinically appropriate. Maintaining accurate and timely medical records. Building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families through compassionate communication and attentive listening. Utilizing additional resources within the organization, including mental health, behavioral health, social work, and other support services, when appropriate. Collaborating with local hospital services to facilitate appropriate newborn care and transfers when necessary. Participating in community relationship-building and outreach activities that support the continued growth and reputation of the practice. Serving as a positive clinical and cultural leader within the practice. Working with practice leadership to identify opportunities for growth and expansion of clinical services.
