Pending Award and Completion of Credentialing Process Compensation Hourly Rate:
$115.00 Travel weekly stipends (if applicable): $1,246 Please keep in mind that payroll is processed on a biweekly basis.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist (DPM) to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of lower extremity conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with IHS and AAAHC standards.
Requirements:
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted Podiatry license in any U.S. state or territory Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in outpatient podiatry, wound care, or ambulatory surgery Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Experience documenting patient care in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Ability to obtain and maintain IHS credentialing, clinical privileges, and security clearance Authority to prescribe medications and perform procedures within granted clinical privileges Compliance with continuing education and mandatory training requirements
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat foot and ankle conditions through comprehensive examinations Perform minor podiatric procedures and provide wound care within clinical privileges Prescribe medications, orthotics, and treatment plans as clinically appropriate Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support patient care Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Coordinate referrals to specialty care when appropriate Maintain compliance with IHS policies, infection control, patient safety, and quality standards Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
