Northern New Jersey Join a busy, multi-office podiatry practice offering a comprehensive 12-month Post-Residency Fellowship designed for highly motivated podiatrists seeking advanced clinical, surgical, and practice management training. This fellowship provides intensive, hands-on experience alongside board-certified, fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeons in a high-volume practice. Fellows will train in office, hospital, and ambulatory surgery center settings while developing the clinical, surgical, and business skills necessary for a successful career in podiatric medicine and surgery. Program Sponsor Directors Dr. Juliana Paternina Dr. Kyle Yi Dr. Vito Petruzzella Combined 50+ years of clinical, surgical, and practice management experience. Clinical Scope Advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of ankle, rearfoot, and forefoot pathologies with comprehensive exposure to: Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery Sports Medicine Trauma Diabetic Limb Salvage & Wound Care Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Disorders Dermatologic Disorders of the Lower Extremity Peripheral Vascular Disease Neurological Disorders of the Lower Extremity Elective Foot & Ankle Surgery Office, Hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Center patient management Fellows will participate in all aspects of patient care, from initial consultation through surgical treatment and postoperative management. Academic Curriculum In addition to advanced clinical and surgical education, fellows will receive structured training in: Medical Billing and Coding AI-assisted Practice Management utilizing the ModMed. In-House Billing Operations Documentation Optimization Regulatory Compliance Malpractice Risk Management The curriculum is designed to prepare fellows not only to become outstanding surgeons, but also successful practice leaders. Career Opportunity Exceptional fellows may be offered a full-time associate position upon successful completion of the fellowship. Associate Compensation Starting base salary of $175,000 Performance-based bonus opportunity with total annual compensation potential of up to $350,000 , based on productivity and performance.
