Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Alabama School Psychologist or Psychometrist Certification required Demonstrated understanding of Alabama regulations regarding Special Education Evaluations Strong collaborative skills to partner effectively with faculty, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Dependability and commitment to professional excellence Previous experience in school settings is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct educational assessments, new referrals, and re-evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate closely with school staff to design and implement student-centered interventions and supports Complete required documentation for eligibility meetings and ongoing student services Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and school teams to ensure optimal learning outcomes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Alabama education standards and best practices in school psychology or psychometry
