We are hiring a Clinical Psychologist - TRAVEL to join our team of talented professionals who travel around the U.S. to conduct a one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams. This is a great opportunity to support our veterans while being able to manage a flexible travel schedule.

Employment :

Part Time , Independent Contractor, 1099 provider. Travel through out the US (Travel time, work time, hotel, rental car, and airfare are included). Competitive compensation : Paid by-weekly, hourly rate $60.00.

Schedule :

Practitioners' availability monthly, (2+ weeks per month), the traveler isn't required to be available all 30 days of the month. Mobile Unit hours 8:00am-4:00pm. Requirements:

The Clinical Psychologist must have and meet the following:

Requirement Qualifications:

• Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one state in the United States.
• Psychiatrists or Neurologists must be board certified or must have completed a 2-year residency with either specialty
• Psychologists must obtain a PhD or PsyD with a Major in Psychology; Specialty studies must focus on the adult population such as Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (or a combination of these). Child-focused psychology programs are not acceptable.
• Psychologists must have graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program.

Certification:

Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Demonstrates compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service and care.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and using EMR and platforms.
• Skilled in professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making.
• Works independently and can manage time in order to provide a quality service while meeting set deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in clinical settings
• Prior VA or C&P experience

Job Summary:

Review pertinent mental health history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans. The Clinical Psychologist will capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations. Common reasons for assessment are PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
