Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a role that directly supports student success by providing essential psychological services across both a middle and high school campus. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers an engaging and dynamic caseload, where your expertise will play a key role in shaping positive educational outcomes. As a valued professional, you'll work onsite and collaborate with dedicated school staff and a supportive multidisciplinary team. Your primary focus will be conducting psych-educational evaluations, helping to create actionable recommendations for IEP teams and families. You'll split your time between two buildings, allowing you to build relationships with diverse student populations and make a meaningful impact at both the middle and high school levels.
Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) as required by state guidelines Previous experience in a school setting preferred Proficiency in administering and interpreting a variety of standardized assessments Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to provide clear, concise evaluation reports and feedback Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of practice
Responsibilities:
Perform psychological assessments and evaluations, primarily for special education eligibility Participate in student support meetings and interdisciplinary teams Provide insight and recommendations for individualized education programs (IEPs) Consult with educators, counselors, and families to support student needs Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all compliance requirements Rotate between two school buildings as part of a full-time schedule This contract position allows you to grow professionally within a supportive educational environment, with opportunities for ongoing collaboration and skill development.
