Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of high school students by providing vital counseling services in a contract-based role. This opportunity involves working two days per week with a dedicated high school caseload near Plainfield, CT. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid credentials as a School Psychologist Previous experience working in a high school setting preferred Strong counseling and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with school staff Commitment to upholding ethical standards in student care
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver counseling services to high school students in both individual and small group formats Address a variety of student needs, with a focus on emotional health, conflict resolution, and coping strategies Maintain detailed, confidential student documentation in keeping with school policies and laws Serve as a resource for students seeking support for academic and personal challenges Liaise with educators and support staff to help facilitate a positive school environment This position is perfect for school psychologists looking to balance meaningful direct-counseling work with flexibility.
