Job Description

Licensed Psychologist - Clinical Care & Supervision We are seeking a licensed psychologist to provide outpatient mental health services and clinical supervision within our growing multidisciplinary practice. This role combines direct patient care with opportunities to mentor clinicians, strengthen clinical quality, and contribute to program development. Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches tailored to each patient's needs. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide scheduled individual and group supervision to assigned clinicians and trainees, consistent with applicable licensing requirements and professional qualifications. Support supervisees with case conceptualization, treatment planning, clinical interventions, risk assessment, and ethical decision-making. Review clinical documentation, provide constructive feedback, and complete required supervisory documentation and signatures. Monitor supervisee progress, identify professional development needs, and address clinical concerns with practice leadership. Participate in chart reviews and quality improvement activities to support accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation. Collaborate with counselors, social workers, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and practice leadership to coordinate patient care. Maintain a direct-care caseload alongside designated supervision responsibilities. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and staff training. Qualifications Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD). Active, unrestricted Connecticut psychologist license. Strong skills in psychotherapy, diagnostic assessment, and clinical documentation. Ability to provide thoughtful, supportive supervision while maintaining clear professional expectations. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Experience supervising clinicians or trainees preferred. Commitment to ethical practice, culturally responsive care, and continued professional development. About the Opportunity This position offers a combination of clinical practice, mentorship, and leadership. The psychologist will work with practice leadership to establish a schedule that balances patient care, supervision, and documentation, with opportunities to help shape clinical programs as the practice grows.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
