What youll bring:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Connecticut Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Previous experience with middle school students strongly preferred Knowledge of special education laws, Section 504, and IEP practices Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families Ability to conduct evaluations, assess learning and behavioral needs, and recommend effective interventions Key responsibilities: Provide psychological services including assessment, counseling, and intervention for middle school students Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement effective support plans Conduct evaluations and contribute to the development of IEPs and student progress monitoring Support a positive school climate by facilitating crisis intervention and conflict resolution as necessary Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and consult with staff regarding student needs This position features a competitive pay range of $48-58 per hour, reflecting your valuable expertise.
