9497353-33843 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist at a K-12 institution near Frostproof, FL. This full-time, onsite position for the 2026-2027 academic year empowers you to make a meaningful difference in students educational journeys. Youll collaborate with dedicated educators and staff, supporting students academic, social, and emotional well-being from August 2026 through May 2027.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid state-issued School Psychologist certification Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field Experience working effectively with K-12 students Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation practices Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Adaptability and passion for supporting diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations for referred students Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic and behavioral support Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed Lead or co-conduct staff training in areas related to student mental health and learning differences Maintain accurate, timely records and confidential documentation Participate in school-based teams and district committees to promote student success As part of this role, you will have the chance to work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team focused on student outcomes.
