Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated and experienced school psychologists near the North Fort Myers area. This is a full-time contract position for the upcoming school year running from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027. In this role, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses, supporting students well-being and success. The position offers a dynamic, itinerant assignment that may involve traveling to various school sites within the district, primarily serving diverse age groups. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments, preparing comprehensive reports, and actively participating in IEP meetings. This is an on-site position, so candidates must be comfortable working within the school setting with students, staff, and families.
Qualifications:
Active Florida Department of Health Psychology license required Prior experience performing educational and psychological assessments School-based experience strongly preferred Strong skills in report writing and conducting student evaluations Ability to facilitate and contribute to IEP meetings Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide psychological evaluations and diagnostic services to students Interpret test data and draft clear, actionable reports Attend and participate in IEP meetings as an essential team member Consult with educators, families, and administrators regarding student supports Travel between assigned sites as needed This contract offers a competitive compensation package of $92/hour and gives you the opportunity to support students in a vibrant, engaged community.
