Job Description

Job Description•This is a Full Time, salaried position at 40 hours per week located at the McHenry clinic. Schedule is Monday through Friday. Experience preferred in the following specialties: Pediatrics (4+), Eating Disorders, Trauma, Grief and Addiction.•The Clinical Psychologist NWR position reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The position provides direct patient care through therapeutic and educational interventions in individual, group, couples, family and/or milieu settings as clinically indicated.
Responsibilities:
Provides direct therapeutic care including individual and group psychoeducation and therapyImplements therapeutic interventions (psychoeducational, cognitive-behavioral or behavioral)Documents timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient medical recordPresents patients at staff/team meetingsParticipates in clinical treatment planning with staff/teamDevelops and contributes to departmental policies and educational materials as requiredCollaborates with other departments/programs and external resources as neededPerforms other duties as assigned#MGMJQualificationsRequiredLicensed Clinical Psychologist, Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
