Your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a transformative difference for students in grades 6 through 8. This full-time opening is designed for professionals passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the current school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with middle school-aged children (grades 6-8) Familiarity with re-evaluations and psychoeducational assessments Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance requirements Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload primarily focused on re-evaluations of 35-70 students Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments as part of comprehensive re-evaluations Provide written reports and actionable recommendations to inform student support plans Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise on student needs and evidence-based interventions Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement strategies that promote student well-being Support school-wide mental health initiatives and contribute to a positive learning environment
