Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students' academic, emotional, and social growth during the 26-27 school year. This contract opportunity focuses on providing expert psychological services to students in grades PreK-8 within an educational setting close to Glenwood, IL. As a valued school psychologist, you'll be instrumental in assessing student needs, facilitating intervention plans, and collaborating closely with educators and families to foster a nurturing environment. With a full-time schedule of 35-37 hours per week, you'll play a vital role throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current licensure as a School Psychologist, meeting all Illinois state requirements Experience working with elementary-aged students (PreK-8) preferred Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with educational planning and special education processes

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct and indirect psychological services to support student success Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide guidance and support Support positive, inclusive practices within the school community

Work Schedule:

Full-time; 35-37 hours/week, beginning on August 18th until June 4th Standard hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00
