Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting middle school students through comprehensive evaluations. Based in the Normal, IL area, this full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a supportive educational environment. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in psychological assessment and a genuine passion for student well-being. Your skills will be key in conducting evaluations and collaborating with educational staff to enhance student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist Masters or Specialists degree in School Psychology or related field required Experience administering and interpreting psychological evaluations at the middle school level preferred Strong knowledge of special education law and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for students within a middle school caseload Interpret assessment results and assist with development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide consultative support to teachers, counselors, and parents regarding students educational and emotional needs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, eligibility determination, and intervention planning Offer recommendations for classroom strategies and evidence-based interventions
