Job Description
Join a growing behavioral health service line and help shape the future of outpatient behavioral health care in the community. Synergy Behavioral Health is a partner with UChicago Medicine and is seeking an experienced, compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Tinley Park. This is a unique opportunity for a clinician who values both direct patient care and the opportunity to grow professionally within a hospital-based behavioral health program. As our outpatient services continue to expand, this position offers the opportunity to develop a clinical practice based on your interests, experience, and areas of expertise. Clinicians may work with patients across the lifespan and have the ability to build a caseload that aligns with their professional strengths while responding to the behavioral health needs of the communities we serve. Working within the UChicago Medicine system provides the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health and medical professionals. Our clinicians benefit from the resources and professional connections available within a hospital setting while practicing in a supportive outpatient environment. What Makes This Opportunity Unique Be part of an expanding behavioral health service line with opportunities to help shape and grow outpatient services. Build a clinical practice around your experience and interests, with opportunities to provide care across the lifespan. Collaborate with other behavioral health and healthcare professionals within an integrated hospital system. Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values clinical expertise, professional development, and quality patient care. Make a meaningful difference by providing accessible behavioral health care and support to individuals and families in the community. Pursue opportunities for professional growth and expanded responsibility, including the potential to provide clinical supervision to developing clinicians. Maintain a strong clinical focus while benefiting from the structure, resources, and interdisciplinary relationships available within UChicago Medicine. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for an independently licensed clinician who is passionate about outpatient behavioral health and enjoys working collaboratively while maintaining autonomy in their clinical practice. The ideal candidate is interested in contributing to the continued development of a growing program and providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Candidates should possess an active Illinois LCSW or LCPC license and experience providing behavioral health assessment, psychotherapy, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical care. Experience working with diverse populations and across different stages of the lifespan is highly valued. If you are an LCSW or LCPC looking for a supportive environment where you can provide meaningful clinical care while continuing to expand your professional role, we would welcome the opportunity to meet you. Master's Degree in a related mental health care field is required. LCPC or LCSW is required. A minimum of two (2) years experience providing individual, family or group based therapy; must have strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
