9580673-60013 Job Description Step into a transformative role supporting K-8th grade students as a School Psychologist for a full-time contract position near Cary, IL. Key Qualifications & Required Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification in the state Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Previous experience working with K-8th grade populations preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities Comfortable providing onsite-only services (no virtual placements) Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret a variety of assessment tools Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to support individualized student plans Provide direct counseling and therapeutic support to students Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise in eligibility determination and program planning Deliver crisis intervention and behavioral support when needed Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and social-emotional learning Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
