Responsibilities include:
Conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students Interpreting assessment findings and preparing comprehensive evaluation reports Attending IEP meetings and contributing to special education eligibility determinations Collaborating with teachers, administrators, counselors, and special education staff Providing direct counseling and social-emotional support as needed Assisting in the creation and implementation of behavioral intervention plans and student supports Supporting intervention frameworks like MTSS and RTI Consulting with families to address student needs and recommend strategies Keeping thorough, accurate records while adhering to established timelines Offering practical recommendations to empower student academic and behavioral success Desired qualifications: Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Active Indiana School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Proficiency in assessment tools, exceptional communication, and strong organizational talents Solid understanding of special education regulations and IEP development Confidence in managing multiple priorities, student cases, and meeting schedules Youll thrive in a collaborative school environment focused on positive outcomes, where professionals work together to address diverse student needs.
