Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' growth by stepping into a contract opportunity as a school psychologist serving PreK-12 learners. This is a flexible opening—full or part-time hours available—to provide assessment, intervention, and consultative services across grade levels. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state certification/licensure as a school psychologist. Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field required. Experience with PreK through grade 12 populations preferred. Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and behavioral intervention. Familiarity with RTI/MTSS, eligibility processes, and IEP development. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs of students. Develop and implement interventions in partnership with educators, parents, and administrators. Participate in special education eligibility and IEP meetings as needed. Provide counseling services and crisis intervention to students as appropriate. Deliver consultation services to teachers, staff, and families to support student success. Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. Support prevention efforts and advocacy for student mental health and wellness.
