Job Description

The Rockport Public School District serves approximately 650 PreK-12th grade students on a two-building campus located in the picturesque coastal community of Rockport, MA which is 40 miles northeast of Boston at the tip of Cape Ann. In partnership with families and the community, the Rockport Public Schools provide a safe environment that fosters integrity, respect, and success. Students learn 21st century skills in order to fully participate in a diverse and ever-changing world.

The Rockport Public Schools is seeking a highly-skilled, dynamic school psychologist to serve as a child advocate and provide expertise in the areas of social, emotional, and academic student growth and achievement. The successful candidate will possess superior content knowledge, effective pedagogical skills, excellent communication skills, an enthusiasm for learning, and the desire to maximize the learning potential of all students. The successful candidate will demonstrate the desire and ability to collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusionary culture that allows each member of our learning community to feel a sense of belonging that is grounded in social emotional safety, impactful relationships, and personalized growth.

Qualifications:

•Massachusetts Educator's License - School Psychologist all grades

•Master's degree or higher
