As a School Psychologist on a contract basis, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and students to support academic achievement, mental health, and social-emotional development. Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure for School Psychology in Massachusetts Experience conducting student assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations Expertise in data-driven evaluation and progress monitoring Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt interventions to meet a wide range of needs Familiarity with various consultation models within school settings Compassion, patience, and a collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations Interpret test results and provide recommendations to support students' needs Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary staff discussions Deliver direct and indirect counseling services to students individually and in groups Develop and implement positive behavioral intervention strategies Consult with teachers and parents to address learning and behavioral concerns Stay current on best practices in school psychology and contribute to a positive school climate This contract opportunity allows you to broaden your impact in education, work alongside passionate professionals, and engage with a supportive community dedicated to student wellness.
