Job Description

The Mindfulness and Change Group (MCG) is looking for a licensed clinical psychologist or clinical social worker with a particular interest in working with adolescents and families to join our collaborative, compassionate, and growing team. MCG is a specialty group practice providing evidence-based cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapies, consultation, training, and assessment in a warm outpatient setting. We are a close-knit team committed to high-quality care, ongoing learning, and supporting one another. The role:
Our DBT program provides full-model DBT for adolescents and adults, along with DBT-oriented family therapy and parent coaching. We are currently looking to hire someone with particular interest in DBT for adolescents. In this role, you will:
  • Treat individual DBT cases, lead a weekly DBT skills, and provide family therapy and parent coaching
  • Work collaboratively with our DBT consultation team
  • Participate in ongoing training, consultation, and professional development
  • Have the opportunity to contribute to program development, leadership, and supervision as your interests and experience grow Who we're looking for: We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician who brings strong clinical skills, curiosity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to evidence-based care.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiproblem adolescents within a DBT framework. We're also open to providing training and supporting a clinician's growth in DBT treatment if it's a good fit. We especially value candidates who have:
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, as well as parents and families
  • Training in behavioral and evidence-based therapies such as DBT, PE, CPT, ERP, PCIT, Parent Management Training, or Habit Reversal Training.
  • A commitment to continued learning and professional growth
  • A willingness to expand your clinical skills and comfort zone
  • Respect and sensitivity for each client's values, background, and unique learning history
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD, PsyD, or EdD), LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT
  • Independent licensure required; candidates must be licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts
  • Formal DBT training (such as BehavioralTech DBT Foundational Training or equivalent) preferred
  • Prior experience in providing DBT preferred
  • New graduates are welcome to apply; preference will be given to clinicians with 3+ years of post-graduate experience What MCG offers: We want clinicians to be able to focus on what they do best: providing excellent therapy. Our compensation and benefits package includes:
