Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' success in an engaging school setting as a School Psychologist on a full-time contract assignment near Westfield, MA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a passion for promoting educational and emotional well-being among elementary-aged children.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid School Psychologist licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts Previous experience with psychoeducational assessment and report writing Solid knowledge of IEP processes and best practices in special education Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Capability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for elementary students Prepare clear, insightful reports highlighting findings and recommendations Participate actively in IEP meetings as a vital member of multidisciplinary teams Consult with educators and families to develop strategies for student success Support positive learning environments through crisis intervention and prevention services as needed Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
