Step into a crucial role supporting student well-being and academic achievement as a School Psychologist on a contract assignment near Albion, MI. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or related field Valid and current School Psychologist credential or eligibility Familiarity with psychoeducational assessments, IEP processes, and intervention planning Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for consultation and collaboration Ability to interpret student data and generate recommendations that support academic and behavioral growth Experience working with diverse student populations Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation within required timelines
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments of students Participate as a valued member of multidisciplinary teams to support IEP development and implementation Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective interventions Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in line with school policies and state requirements Offer staff training and consultations to optimize student learning outcomes Support students' social-emotional development and facilitate access to needed resources
