This contract position offers the flexibility to work part-time or full-time, with schedules ranging from 20 to 35 hours per week based on your availability and preference. You'll provide essential psychological and educational support across 2 to 3 elementary buildings, depending on your chosen hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychological assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention plans Support individualized education programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans Offer counseling services and crisis intervention as needed Participate in team meetings, consultation, and professional development opportunities Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations Travel between school sites with reimbursement provided for mileage Potential to arrange a hybrid remote schedule, depending on experience and district needs

Qualifications:

Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid school psychologist credential or eligibility to obtain one Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and preparing IEPs Strong collaboration skills and commitment to child-centered practices Ability to manage caseload across multiple elementary school locations Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
