Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A dynamic contract opportunity is available for a Full Time School Psychologist to support students across K-12 grades in a collaborative and enriching educational environment. This position offers a chance to make a measurable difference in the lives of children and young adults, working closely with a fellow school psychologist to ensure comprehensive and effective care. The role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 4, 2027, providing both stability and the opportunity to truly impact a school community over multiple academic years.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology required Valid state credential or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students Skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and intervention Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators, families, and fellow support staff Excellent communication, organization, and case management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students across all grade levels Collaborate with a second School Psychologist to divide and manage the caseload efficiently Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to recommend and implement evidence-based interventions Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere This position allows for professional growth while working alongside a supportive colleague, and offers a consistent school schedule across 37.5 hours per week for a meaningful work-life balance.
