Job Description

Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by using your expertise as a School Psychologist in a contract role near Lawrence, MI. This opportunity allows you to support the social, emotional, and academic development of children and adolescents, collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive educational environments. Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist, or eligibility in the state. Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field. Experience conducting multifaceted psycho-educational assessments and interpreting results. Proficiency with consultation models and interventions for diverse student populations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in providing collaborative support to teachers, administrators, and families. Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance standards. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, student-centered environment. Flexibility and openness to exploring teletherapy opportunities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, counseling, and intervention. Develop, implement, and review IEPs as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with educators and families to devise strategies for academic and behavioral success. Respond to crisis situations and facilitate social-emotional learning programs. Advocate for student needs and serve as a resource on mental health and learning differences. Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to applicable state and federal guidelines.
