Make a Meaningful Impact in Your Community Shiawassee Health & Wellness is seeking an experienced and qualified professional to serve as a Contractual OBRA and Guardianship Evaluator . This independent contractor role is ideal for a licensed clinician who is passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through comprehensive evaluations and professional recommendations. The evaluator will conduct Level II OBRA assessments , guardianship evaluations , and related psychological assessments for individuals throughout Shiawassee County. Compensation $255 per completed assessment $25 per hour for required trainings and meetings Independent contractor (1099) position No employer-sponsored benefits Position Summary The Contractual OBRA and Guardianship Evaluator is responsible for completing evaluations, documenting findings, and providing recommendations in accordance with applicable state, federal, Medicaid, and agency requirements. Guardianship evaluators may also be required to attend court hearings related to completed assessments. Most evaluations will be conducted in person at the agency's main office in Owosso. Periodic travel throughout Shiawassee County may be required to complete community-based assessments or meet with individuals in their current settings. Essential Responsibilities Complete Guardianship Evaluations and provide written recommendations. Attend court hearings as required for guardianship cases. Conduct Level II OBRA evaluations. Complete psychological assessments and related evaluations as assigned. Identify the need for additional specialty evaluations when appropriate. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Collaborate effectively with treatment teams, providers, family members, and community partners. Protect and uphold recipient rights and confidentiality requirements. Participate in required trainings and professional development activities. Adhere to all applicable agency, Medicaid, MDHHS, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Education Master's Degree in Psychology required. Licensure/Certification Licensed Master's Level Psychologist required. Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) status preferred or required based on experience and qualifications. Experience Minimum five (5) years of experience conducting behavioral assessments and developing behavior intervention plans. Minimum two (2) years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. Experience conducting psychological evaluations strongly preferred. Requirements Ability to conduct in-person assessments. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Shiawassee County as needed. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems. Ability to work independently while maintaining professional communication with agency staff. Independent Contractor Requirements This position is a 1099 independent contractor role .
