Job Description
Position Summary The Psychometrist is a detail-oriented, compassionate, and highly organized individual who is open to continuous learning and feedback. The Psychometrist will provide services for children, adolescents, and adults by administering and scoring standardized psychological and cognitive assessments under the direction and supervision of a licensed psychologist. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with individuals across a wide range of ages and presenting concerns, demonstrates strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and is committed to maintaining a professional, supportive, and clinically appropriate testing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Administer standardized psychological assessments under the supervision and direction of a licensed psychologist.
- Assist patients with completing questionnaires, forms, and assessment materials as needed.
- Observe and accurately document patient behavior and test-taking observations during assessments to support the psychologist and neuropsychologist in the evaluation and diagnostic process.
- Scan, upload, and organize assessment materials and related documentation within the electronic health record (TherapyNotes) system.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA requirements and practice policies.
- Safeguard confidential clinical information, testing materials, documentation, and other sensitive practice records. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology.
- Working knowledge of psychological, neuropsychological, personality, and/or educational assessment tools and standardized testing procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to administer and document assessments accurately and consistently while following established testing protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish comfortable, professional relationships with patients and their support systems, including parents, guardians, and partners. Requirements
