Key Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Experience performing assessments, counseling, and consulting within the school setting Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and external resources Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and student populations Knowledge of best practices in psycho-educational evaluations, IEP development, and behavioral interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention plans Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute insights to support student success Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges Support crisis intervention and the development of positive behavioral supports throughout the school community Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
