9667479-28681 Job Description Bring your expertise in school psychology to a dynamic contract position supporting students from elementary through high school. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a difference throughout the school year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 28, 2027. Monday through Friday, youll work a consistent 37.5-hour week in a collaborative educational setting near Taylorsville, NC. Youll be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, focusing on re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments. The caseload may also include some initial evaluations, with additional details to be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid School Psychologist certification/license for North Carolina (or eligibility) Experience with re-evaluation reviews and initial eligibility meetings preferred Skilled in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments Proficiency in conducting functional behavioral assessments Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school levels

Responsibilities:

Conduct re-evaluation reviews and participate in eligibility meetings for students across all grade levels Perform and interpret functional behavioral assessments as needed Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including initial referrals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student development and progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with district and state requirements This contract position offers a fulfilling balance of meaningful student support and professional growth within a supportive educational environment.
