Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current North Carolina (NCP) license as a School Psychologist Valid School Psychologist license issued by the Department of Education Direct experience with psychoeducational evaluations and triennial reviews Proven ability to work with middle and high school students Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage, prioritize, and complete tasks both onsite and remotely when appropriate Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and triennial re-evaluations for students in accordance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies and support plans Provide direct and consultative services to meet students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Prepare detailed, timely reports; some report writing tasks may be completed remotely based on testing and meeting schedules Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and offer expertise in interpreting assessment results Promote positive student outcomes and help foster an inclusive, supportive school culture This position offers flexibility with some tasks able to be completed from home, allowing you to manage your workload effectively.
