Desired experience and qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification/license, or eligibility in New Jersey Proven experience in preschool or early childhood educational settings Strong grasp of assessment tools and case management processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases efficiently Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of student support Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for preschool-aged children Serve as the primary case manager, coordinating services and interventions for assigned students Participate fully in multidisciplinary meetings, providing professional insights on child development and learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance learning outcomes and social-emotional well-being Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures Provide crisis intervention and support within the school community as needed Benefits and perks: Gain experience in a specialized preschool environment focused on early intervention Collaborative, supportive work culture with like-minded education professionals Enjoy a structured schedule that aligns with the school calendar Bring your expertise and enthusiasm for early childhood development to a role where youll shape bright beginnings.
