This part-time role offers meaningful impact while prioritizing your work-life balance through flexible scheduling. Choose which two to three days a week you work, with approximately 20 hours per week, and immerse yourself in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey School Psychologist license required Experience working with K-12 student populations Knowledge of assessment, counseling, and the Response to Intervention (RTI) process Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school assignments Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment Must meet all onboarding requirements, including fingerprint clearance prior to your start date
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Support students' mental health, academic, and behavioral success Consult with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized interventions Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and support Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Provide crisis intervention and targeted counseling as needed Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and timely reporting Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral and academic strategies across assigned schools
