Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity calls for a compassionate professional eager to support young learners and their families. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering a positive learning environment by providing assessments and effective case management.
Desirable Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid School Psychologist credentials for New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain) Experience with early childhood or preschool populations is highly valued Proficient in psychological and academic assessments Strong communication and collaborative skills with students, families, and staff Knowledge of best practices in case management and special education procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for preschool students Oversee case management for students receiving psychological services Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct support and consultation to teachers and families Interpret and communicate assessment results to both staff and parents Monitor students progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with regulations This role offers the unique chance to shape the early educational experiences of children while working in a supportive school community.
