Key Qualifications:

Hold a Master's or Doctorate in School Psychology or a related field Current and active NM PED School Psychologist License Experience completing a range of student evaluations, with the ability to manage an average caseload of 30-40 assessments Comfortable traveling between schools within the district Deep understanding of child development, learning, and socio-emotional needs within diverse student populations Strong communication and consultative skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for referred students and interpret results for educational programming Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health concerns Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist in the development of individualized student plans Support positive academic and social-emotional outcomes for students through direct and indirect services Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines Travel between assigned schools as needed to meet service and evaluation demands This role offers a structured, district-wide experience with a consistent weekly schedule.
