Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning. Participate in eligibility determinations and special education decision-making, ensuring compliance with Nevada and federal guidelines. Develop, recommend, and help implement evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional interventions. Provide individual or small-group counseling to support student needs. Collaborate and consult with staff, administrators, and families on academic, developmental, and behavioral concerns. Support in creating and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) as necessary. Respond to crises and offer timely, supportive interventions. Maintain accurate and confidential case records while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Actively engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited program. Current or eligible for School Psychologist licensure/certification in Nevada. Solid knowledge of psychoeducational assessment and special education processes. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in delivering evidence-based interventions and contributing to team-driven solutions.
