Job Description

New York Therapy Placement Services, Inc. is seeking NYS Licensed Psychologists to join our highly skilled team of pediatric clinicians to perform evaluations for our thriving Early Intervention program. Bilingual extension (English/Spanish Fluency) a plus. Evaluation opportunities are available throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Benefits Competitive Rates & Reliable Bi-Monthly Payments (1099) Create your own schedule for work/life balance Choose the locations you prefer to work Evaluations available to choose from throughout Suffolk & Nassau Counties Schedule allows testing during school breaks if needed New evaluation opportunities to choose from on a weekly basis A professional administrative staff to support you in the field One-stop personalized portal for billing/evaluation uploads, provider resources and forms Requirements Must currently hold New York State Psychologist License (PhD or PsyD) Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited University Bilingual Extension (Preferred, but not required) Conduct psychological evaluations, academic testing, social histories and behavioral observations Strong written and oral communication skills Professional, dependable and responsible Experience working with preschool children (Preferred) Ability to plan, prioritize and effectively meet deadlines Ability to select and administer age-appropriate standardized assessments to meet the individualized needs of students All evaluation roles are 1099 independent contractor positions, and evaluators are required to provide their own testing materials Please note that the rate is paid on a per‑evaluation basis rather than an hourly rate Please be aware that Department of Health (DOH) Clearance is required for all Early Intervention Providers & Evaluators, unless you work at our clinics.
