Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply. Psychologists at RCPC are part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provide assessment and treatment to individuals with mental illness including:

  • Providing clinical leadership and program management
  • Conducting forensic or court-ordered assessments
  • Providing treatment and expert testimony
  • Providing individual, group, or family therapy and crisis intervention
  • Maintaining records and documentation Minimum QualificationsCandidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they are licensed and currently registered to practice Psychology in New York State.

OR Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. OR Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they are reachable on the current Licensed Psychologist eligible list. This position is located at Saugerties Elementary School in Ulster County. The salary of $146,875 includes Job Rate

PS&T SG-25

(126,875) and a Geographic Pay Differential ($20,000). This position is eligible for a downstate adjustment of $4,150
