Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students and staff during the 2026-2027 academic year as a School Psychologist. This onsite contract opportunity is open to both part-time and full-time schedules, giving you the flexibility to shape your work around your lifestyle while making a real difference in an educational community. Your expertise in psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention will help foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. As a valued contributor, you will collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies that promote positive student outcomes.
Qualifications:
Valid New York certification as a School Psychologist (required) Previous experience within school settings is highly desirable Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions as needed Consult with educators and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings to support student success plans Provide crisis intervention and consultation for students and staff Design and implement evidence-based interventions to assist students and classrooms In this position, you'll enjoy competitive compensation between $50-$60 per hour and the option to receive weekly pay.
