Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact on student success while working as a school psychologist on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff, providing essential psychological services to help children thrive academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or license (or eligibility) for Oregon Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or related field Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting data Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and IEP processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations Ability to manage a flexible caseload and juggle multiple tasks Previous experience in K-12 school settings (desired, but not required)
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations Develop, write, and present psychoeducational reports with recommendations Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student intervention strategies Participate actively in IEP, RTI, and eligibility meetings Deliver direct or indirect services to students as needed, including counseling or social skills support Assist in crisis prevention and intervention initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all students
